James Grout has been capturing special
moments through photography over the past ten
years. His unobtrusive, photojournalistic style
has earned him the respect from clients and
allowed him to excel at what he does best -
photography.
An alumni of State University of New York at
Purchase, James studied Photography and the Arts
giving him a firm foundation in his craft and a
unique approach. While travelling, and
faithfully lugging tons of photographic
equipment along the way, James has had the
opportunity to photograph the world. From the
white peaks of New Zealand, to the winding
Amalfi Coast, to the neon lights of Times
Square, James has captured images that reveals
his imagination and touches our souls.

James also has an artistic approach to technical
lighting. Being a Certified Lighting Technician,
he has worked on many television shows and
Hollywood movie sets, including The Sopranos,
The Manchurian Candidate, Spike Lee's She
Hate Me, The Inside Man, The Guru, Oliver
Stone's World Trade Center and The
Devil Wears Prada. James has also
photographed former president Bill Clinton for a
local magazine. |
